Champlain Heights is a multiple residential area popular with families. The land is predominately leasehold interest in favor of the City of Vancouver. Overall affordability enters into the reasons as to why people locate in the south-east corner of the city (right next door to the City of Burnaby). Many recreational opportunities with good outdoor space are key features here. There is also a shopping centre close by.
